He opened BTS in 1997 so he could continue his therapy work in an environment that promotes fitness and health.
Darren has successfully trained and treated athletes of all
fitness levels including pro + youth athletes in addition to industrial athletes + weekend warriors. Industrial athletes, including SFFD, SFPD, MUNI, PG&E, the Longshore Personel of the Waterfront, require specific rehab and training techniques to return to work safely in a full capacity. Darren also works with clients that are passionate about playing sports that require strength, endurence, and flexability for specific skills and techniques. Often after an injury on the job or on the court, the exercise prescription needed is specific and detailed. Sports/Work conditioning is necessary to prevent injury and to increase performance on the job, on the court and in life!
SeniorFIT The key is movement! We believe in meeting you where you are and helping you reach whatever goals you have. By focusing on total body fitness, workout regimes will include the three main components of fitness: strength, endurance, and flexibility. Exercises will emulate everyday activities and focus on balance to ensure your safety in your day to day living. Flexibility is a major focus to help in preventing injury. Strength and endurance will grow over time and at the same time your aches and pains will
begin to subside.
